What does TMC have to offer?

TMC offers FULL BODY MASSAGES, but only back, feet, head, etc, is also possible.
A full body massage costs 500 INR per hour.





THE TIBETAN MASSAGE COURSE


WHAT IS TIBETAN MASSAGE?
Tibetan massage is based on acupressure, it is designed to stimulate the 14 channels of the body to balance energy flow and improve health and wellbeing.
HOW IS THE COUSE ORGANISED?
You can learn to give a full body Tibetan massage in 6 days, 1:30 hours per day. Starting time are flexible to your schedule.
Day 1: Back
Day 2: back of legs
Day 3: Chest, abdomen and arms
Day 4: Front of legs
Day 5: Head, Neck and Face
Day 6: Practice full body massage

 











HOW IS THE COURSE TAUGHT?
demonstration: the teacher demonstrates while the student takes notes on the papers provided.

practice: the student practices the technique as the teacher guides the student.


receiving:  the student receives a massage from the teacher or from the other student.

About Tibetan Massage

Massage is popularly used in Tibet by medical professionals and local people in the urban and remote areas. Good and proper massage technique helps many physical and psychological problems whether they are caused by humoral disturbances or daily stressful works.

There are five major massage strokes used in Tibetan massage

  1. Stroking - application of oil, long longitudinal strokes (effleurage)
  2. Rubbing - vigorous circular motion, friction.
  3. Kneading
  4. "Acupressure" - deep localized, circular motion
  5. Triple technique 




    In our hands and feet are many important pressure points, that are connected with other bodyparts and organs.
